Designer. Writer. Born 1966, in California. Michelle fell in love with staging while arranging and rearranging her room as a child. Her family’s home soon became a studio for staging.

During college, Michelle transformed dorms, apartments and sorority rooms from simple places into stylish places. Working for several not-for-profit organizations, she introduced color, function and beauty to her work spaces. Her life motto, “Less is more!”

Discovering she could make a living doing what she loves, Michelle turned her passion into a profession, giving birth to Savvy Stager! When not staging, she’s sipping coffee, shopping thrift stores or enjoying the Virginia outdoors with her family.
